The Va’ruun Penumbra is a rather dramatic weapon, as one might expect from the zealots who inspired it. It’s excellent when used with purpose: crowd control, entrenched positions, or when you simply want everything in a ten-metre radius to stop existing. That said, it’s not one for tight spaces or nimble work. Slow to fire, heavy in the hand, and wholly impractical for anything requiring precision. It's hardly a discreet weapon. Simply put, you don’t carry the Penumbra for versatility. You carry it when you want to make an example.
Still, when the moment calls for a bit of theatrical destruction, the Penumbra answers with flair.
Loud, devastating, and delightfully excessive but hardly your everyday sidearm.
